Katie started riding at the age of 8yo and spent many years in Pony Club.

Her passion for horses grew stronger and advanced to successfully competing in the open show ring: discipline's including dressage, showing and show jumping.

Katie's mum Carol, was always there to support her but being a single parent, could only contribute a small amount, therefore Katie had to work very hard to pay her own way. 

Though only competing at limited shows, she was very successful, winning and placing in many events from P.C. through to the open show ring.

With the support of Katie's husband Chris, she has been fortunate to open her own business, passing on knowledge to her valued clients.
